Write your first name, surname, date of collection, and time of collection on the back of each dried urine collection card before collecting your sample.

Collect urine samples according to the recommended schedule. All samples should be collected on the same day. Use the collection cup and apply each sample to the correct dried urine test strip card.

Open the cardboard cover to expose the dried urine test strip filter paper. Dip the test strip into the urine collection cup until the filter paper is fully saturated and all indicator lines have been reached.

Place the dried urine test strip card upright and allow it to air dry completely. Do not package the sample until it is fully dry. Once dry, fold the cover back over the strip to protect it.

Once all dried urine collection cards are completely dry, fold the cover back over each strip to protect the sample. Place the dried cards into the return envelope or specimen transport bag and send them to the laboratory according to the return instructions.
