Before you start, you need to register your test-ID. Your test kit contains a sticker with your unique test-ID. If you need help creating an account, you can check our guide.

Wash your hands in warm water and massage your hand to increse blood flow. Dry your hands.

Shake your hands to get the blood flowing.

Prepare the lancet by twisting off the plastic pin.

Use the alcohol swab to disinfect the finger tip that you will prick.

Let the alcohol dry completely before proceeding.

The lancet will only puncture once. Place your finger against a firm surface and press lancet against fingertip until you hear a click. Remove the first drop of blood.

We recommend that you stand up at this stage to let the blood in your arm flow downward. Help the blood drops come out by massaging the finger toward the needle stick.

Apply 4-7 drops of blood to the sample card or until the blood surpasses the arrows.

NOTE: Only apply blood onto the collection square on the left. Do not touch or tap on the collection card with your finger.

Add QR code sticker and write down sampling date.

Let the sample card dry for 2 hours before shipping.

Put the blood card into the foil pouch and attach the second QR code sticker to the foil bag.

Put the foil pouch in the envelope and send it.

Results are usually available 10–15 business days after we receive your sample.

As soon as your results are ready, we'll notify you by email and text message. Your results will then be available to view in your my.gettested.io account.
