Wash Hands
Wash your hands in hot water for about a minute. This will increase blood circulation in your fingers. Dry your hands.
Note: Doing a blood test without stimulating blood circulation might prove difficult, so please do not skip this step.

Remove Cap On Lancet

Disinfect Finger

Prick Finger
Put the lancet diagonally toward the test finger (the side of the ring finger is recommended) and press down the button.
Make sure the lancet is pressed against the finger the whole time.

Stimulate Blood Flow

Collect Sample
Take the pipette without pressing the bulb. The blood will enter the pipette by capillarity.
Move the pipette away when the black line is reached. If there is not enough blood, continue to massage the finger until the black line is reached.

Add Sample
Remove the cap from the vial bottle included in your kit and deposit the blood into the vial bottle.
Press the pipette bulb 2 or 3 times to ensure that all the blood has moved into the diluent solution.

Put Cap Back On And Mix
Replace the screw cap onto the vial and mix well for at least 10 seconds.
Unscrew the blue cap from the dropper vial (leave the white cap tightly screwed on).

Put Sample On Cassette
Deposit 3 drops into the well shown on the cassette (S).
Wait 5 minutes and then read the results as indicated.
