Preparations
Lay out all the materials.
For this test you should collect morning urine (preferably midstream urine) from the mare at least 50 days after insemination.
Note: Midstream urine means collecting the sample after the mare has started urinating, rather than collecting the first urine released.

Collect Sample
Use a large clean bucket or cup to collect the urine sample.
Transfer a small amount of urine to the provided cup.
Allow the sample to reach room temperature for 20–30 minutes before testing.

Use Pipette
Collect urine from cup using a pipette.

Apply To Cassette
Place the test device on a flat surface at room temperature.
Add 6 drops of urine to the sample well (S).

Wait
Wait for the color bands to appear.
Read the result within 10–20 minutes.
Results read after 20 minutes are considered invalid.

Pregnancy / Positive
A strong or faint C (control) line appears.
A faint T (test) line appears, or no T line appears.

No Pregnancy / Negative
A faint C (control) line and a strong T (test) line appear.

Invalid
No C (control) line appears, regardless of whether a T (test) line is visible.
