Before you start, you need to register your test-ID. Your test kit contains a sticker with your unique test-ID. If you need help creating an account, you can check our guide.

Carefully open the provided "Stool Collecting" paper by pulling apart the edges by the arrows

Place the paper on the toilet seat and fold the seat ring over it so that it stays in place. Place the paper a little further back on the toilet seat.

Open the transport container and take out the inner white tube.

Unscrew the brown cap counterclockwise, grab the lid with the connected spoon.

Collect stool sample from the stool that should now be on the paper.

Using the spoon attached to the lid, scoop the feces into the test tube.

Fill the tube so that it reaches between the minimum and maximum line (preferably more towards maximum than minimum).

Some stool tests require that you to fill several tubes. You must fill all the tubes that you have received. Close the lid.

Place your test ID on the container(s).

Place the test tube inside the transport container and close the lid.

If you have several tubes in your test kit, repeat this step with all the tubes.

Open the black tranpsportation tube and pull out the sampling tube inside of it.

Please keep in mind that the tube contains liquid. Once you have opened the tube, it is important that you keep it upright until you close it again.

Hold the blue part of the tube and pull out the yellow dosing stick with the other hand. Make sure to keep the tube standing upright so the liquid doesn’t spill out.

Insert the dosing stick at 3 different places in the stool. The construction on the lower part of the dosing stick will pick up enough stool.

Remove excess stool from the top of the sample lance.

Put the dosing stick back in the tube. When you have inserted the dosing stick completely into the tube, turn it until you hear a click.

Note that the solution will not change color – or very little – this is correct! It should not turn to brown.

Put the tube in the transport container. Label the tube with your unique test ID. Put the transport container in the enclosed envelope together with the other tubes.

Flush down the stool paper with the rest of the faeces down the toilet.

Put the tubes in the pre-stamped envelope.

Results are usually available 10–15 business days after we receive your sample.

As soon as your results are ready, we'll notify you by email and text message. Your results will then be available to view in your my.gettested.io account.
