Preparation
Make sure that the test is at room temperature. If the test was stored in the fridge, let the cassette reach room temperature (15–25°C / 59–77°F) before testing. This ensures accurate results.

Sample Collection
Collect the horse’s ocular (eye) or nasal (nose) secretions using the provided swab. Make sure the swab is well moistened with the sample.

Sample Extraction
Insert the wet swab into the assay buffer tube and stir or agitate at least 5 times to ensure proper mixing.
Remove the swab while pressing it against the side of the tube to extract as much liquid as possible.

Apply Sample
Use the provided dropper to add 3 drops of the extracted liquid into the sample hole on the test cassette.

Wait and Read Results
Interpret the result in 5–10 minutes.
Do not read the results after 10 minutes, as they are considered invalid.

Positive Results
Both the C band and the T band are visible, regardless of whether the T band is strong or faint.

Negative Result
Only a clear C band is visible.

Invalid Result
No colored C band appears, regardless of whether the T band is visible.
A retest is recommended.
