    Register Test-ID

    Before you start, you need to register your test-ID. Your test kit contains a sticker with your unique test-ID. If you need help creating an account, you can check our guide.

    Wash Hands

    Wash your hands in warm water and massage your hand to increse blood flow. Dry your hands.

     

    Shake your hands to get the blood flowing.

    Note: Doing a blood test without stimulating blood circulation might prove difficult, so please do not skip this step!

    Disinfect Your Finger

    Use the alcohol swab to disinfect the finger tip that you will prick.

    Let the alcohol dry completely before proceeding.

    Remove Protective Cover From Lancet

    Rotate the protective cover on the blood lancet (yellow, blue or purple/pink lancet) to remove it. Use the extra lancet if you need to do another finger stick.

    Place Hand On Flat Surface

    Place your hand on a flat surface. Put the lancet diagonally toward the test finger and press down the yellow button. Make sure the lancet is pressed against the finger the whole time.

    Note: The lancet can only be used once. If you have pressed the button without placing the lancet against your finger, you will not be able to use it again.

    Encourage Blood Flow

    Gently massage your finger from the base toward the tip to encourage blood flow. Do not squeeze too hard as this may cause the blood to clot.

    Drip the blood onto the circles on the paper. Standing up will help. It is important to fill all the circles completely, otherwise the lab will not be able to complete the test.

    Place the sticker with your unique test-ID onto the paper. Let the blood sample dry for 2-4 hours until it's completely dry.

    When the blood is completely dried, put the paper in the silver plastic cover.

    Sending Sample

    Put the foil pouch in the envelope and send it.

     

    Unsure on how to do send? Locate the “Send your laboratory sample” card included in your kit.

    Note: Send your sample the same day that you perform the test (preferably a Monday or Tuesday).
